Astrapak, a Berry Global Company, has completed its annual BRC accreditation audit at the Thermopac plant in Cape Town, retaining BRC status with AA certification.

Astrapak Managing Director, Craig Matthews, commended his team for the immense amount of focus placed on maintaining hygiene and food safety as a top priority throughout the business.

For the past 12 years, the consistent achievements and high standards based on the BRC Audit principles is a testament to the commitment that the Thermopac Team has made to the company and their customers. This achievement goes a long way in keeping Astrapak active in the food markets that they’re serving.

Fine attention to detail and processes focusing on maintaining internal operational improvements in hygiene and safety has allowed Thermopac to maintain a high standard in food packaging by minimising non-conformances year-on-year and providing ultimate quality.

Thermopac’s Quality Manager, Crystal Chandler, has successfully led her committed team to maintain stringent operational standards with the success of maintaining the highly rated accreditation for more than a decade.

Well done Thermopac on your prestigious achievement!
